Pyramids Half Marathon

The Marakez Pyramids Half Marathon is Egypt's flagship road running event, taking place annually at Egypt's most famous historical destination and the world's last remaining Wonder of the Ancient World: the Great Pyramids of Giza. The Marakez Pyramids Half Marathon takes thousands of runners on a tour of the Pyramids Complex, showcasing the three legendary pyramids of Pharaohs Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, as well as the six lesser ones built for their queens.

Beginning in 2020, the Marakez Pyramids Half Marathon added a short-format running race to the event alongside the 21K and 10K, and since then the 5K has proven to be incredibly popular. The 5K Fun Run benefits from a relatively flat course, while the 10K and 21K will both face the downhill stretch towards the Sphinx and the now-infamous incline on the way back up. The Marakez Pyramids Half Marathon is a fun, challenging, and unforgettable #RaceThroughHistory, perfect for runners of all ages and abilities.

The Pyramid Half Marathon's sister race, the Saqqara Pyramid Race, takes runners on a tour of the Saqqara Necropolis, including the legendary Step Pyramid.
The Ramadan Relay Run
Our iconic Ramadan event takes place at Palm Hills Club in 6th of October, featuring 100 teams of four runners competing to run as many laps as possible.
Somabay 10K Race
Part of Egypt's flagship multi-sports event, the Somabay Endurance Festival, the 10K Race takes runners on an amazing tour of Somabay, on May 27th. This race features overall and age group winners.
Madinaty Half Marathon
East Cairo's premier running race, organised in collaboration wit Talaat Moustafa Group in the heart of Madinaty. Featuring 21K, 10K, & 5K Races, and the 2K Fun Run.
SODIC Charity Run
Featuring three distances, a 10K Race, 5K Race, and 3K Fun Run, the SODIC Charity Run is perfect for the whole family and suitable for runners of all ages and abilities.
